A Lite Year take on a menswear staple.
Traditionally seen in warmer climates. the technique for making seersucker cloth originates from arab nations. The word originates from the Persian words shîr (شیر) and shakar (شکر) – meaning milk and sugar. from the gritty texture (sugar) on the smooth (milk) cloth. You can see this effect with the uneven look and feel of the fabric.
Compared with a classic seersucker. Lite Year have used a version with an oversized stripe that adds a much more casual look to the fabric.
